What is Cops and Robbers?

Cops and Robbers V is an arcade-style game mode on FiveM (GTA). It is not a roleplay server. You pick a job such as cop, EMS, criminal, mechanic, hitman or delivery driver, and more are planned.

The beauty of CnR V is that you can just drop in and play: no long waiting times and no lengthy application forms like in RP. It is relaxed and a lot more arcadey.

The server allows custom content, so crews can upload their own uniforms and liveries. With a distinctive lack of British-themed crews, we brought the UK Police and EMS services to CnR V in April 2024.

About the Met

The Met are heavily based on the UK police forces: lots of vehicles and accurate uniforms, all with that traditional British feel. Alongside policing the Los Santos streets we also run an EMS branch, based on the NHS.

Our members come from all over the globe, including several European countries and the US. We are generally most active in the evenings (GMT).

We use a Discord ranking system similar to the UK police ranks, plus achievements and pay-outs, to give you a sense of progression while playing CnR V. Outside CnR V we play a range of other games in the downtime.

  1. Properly British. UK uniforms, liveries and vehicles, and an EMS branch modelled on the NHS.
  2. A ladder you can climb. Discord ranks that follow UK policing, with achievements and pay-outs along the way.
  3. No quotas. Nobody counts your hours. Only the management ranks carry some activity expectations.
  4. Small on purpose. Our entry requirements are higher than most crews’, because we would rather know everyone by name.

What it takes to join

Anyone who appreciates our national treasure, Greggs, is welcome. So is anyone who can reel off Hot Fuzz quotes at the drop of a hat. Read About first, then the full list in the recruitment post on the CnR V Discord.

  • 18 or over, fluent English, clean record

    No ban history in the last 6 months.

  • Level 18 and the rules in your head

    In-game level 18 or above and a solid understanding of the CnR V rules, especially Police vs Criminal rules of engagement.

  • A working microphone

    You are expected, though not required, to join us in Discord VC, especially during probation. In-game comms are fine as an alternative.
